Retirees Return to Work
What are retirees doing after retirement? Some, like Marty Schuler and Judy Peters, have returned to work at Old National for temporary assignments.

Marty retired from Old National in April of 2007 after 42 years of service. Marty retired as Director of Retail Administration and recently returned to assist with a bank acquisition project. Said Marty during the project, “The work I’m doing now is really the same type of work I was doing before retirement. I’ve always loved organizing projects and working on mergers. I was excited to come back, because it gave me the opportunity to do what I enjoy doing the most.”

Judy retired from the position of Corporate Trainer in March of 2007 after 28 years of service. She returned to assist with teller and customer service representative training, while the current Corporate Training staff was busily preparing for the bank acquisition. Judy said, “I was excited to come back, because I always enjoyed my job. I was surprised at what I remember. It’s like I never left.” She added, “If you can come back, it’s like coming back home.”

Old National is pleased to welcome returning retirees like Marty and Judy and appreciates their ongoing contribution to our company.
