ONB Sponsors Successful Walk for JDRF

Old National Bank proudly sponsored and participated in the second annual Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) Walk held at Holiday World on May 26. The goal for JDRF was to raise $200,000, and with the help of the local committee, sponsors, loyal Foundation supporters and 1,400 walkers, that goal was far exceeded for a total of $230,000.

Of the 1,400 walkers, Old National Bank had the largest corporate team, with more than 50 participants. The blue and gold ONe Community shirts were seen throughout the theme park all day. Bob Jones, President and CEO of Old National Bancorp commented, “From a business perspective, partnership means serving clients with enthusiasm and integrity. Yet all the business accolades in the world ring hollow without a passionate commitment to strengthening communities and impacting lives.”

Stacey Kubal, Event Coordinator for the Indiana State Chapter of JDRF said, “The local committee and volunteers are the heart of this walk. Thank you to the Southern Indiana community for their support and a special thank you to Old National Bank, Holiday World and the Evansville Courier-Press for their commitment to JDRF and to finding a cure.”
