Old National Bank Donates Baby Items to Ark Crisis Child Care Center and St. Vincents Day Care

EVANSVILLE, Ind., Old National Bank (NYSE: ONB) donated baby items to Ark Crisis Child Care Center and St. Vincent’s Day Care on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. Southern Region CEO, Jim Sandgren presented the donated goods at Old National’s downtown location (1 Main Street).

Throughout 2009, Old National celebrates its landmark 175th Anniversary with the communities that have helped them grow and thrive. One of ONB’s community initiatives is conducting quarterly donation drives with the goal of collecting at least 175 items in each Old National market to donate to local charities. Given the economic challenges that face many in our community, Old National associates are turning their attention to those whose needs are greater than their own.

The first collection was from March 2 - 20, and the theme was baby diapers (or other baby items, such as wipes, bottles, etc). To thank ONB’s local communities for supporting Old National for the past 175 years, all items collected will stay in that local community.

Old National Bancorp, celebrating its 175th anniversary in 2009, is the largest financial services holding company headquartered in Indiana and, with $7.9 billion in assets, ranks among the top 100 banking companies in the United States. Since its founding in Evansville in 1834, Old National has focused on community banking by building long-term, highly valued partnerships with clients in its primary footprint of Indiana, Illinois and Kentucky. In addition to providing extensive services in retail and commercial banking, wealth management, investments and brokerage, Old National also owns one of the largest independent insurance agencies headquartered in Indiana, offering complete personal and commercial insurance solutions.
