Cash Management

Money Management

Keep your money working day and night.

Shouldn't your money work as hard as you do? Old National sweep accounts can help reduce idle cash by automatically transferring excess funds to either a high-yield investment or your Old National business line of credit.

Business Investment Sweep

With Old National’s Business Investment Sweep1, you earn interest on excess funds without having to transfer funds.

We work with you to determine a target balance to keep in your account. Any time your balance goes above this limit, excess funds will be swept automatically into a business investment account. If your account falls below this target balance, the investment account will transfer funds back to your checking account.

Benefits

  • Transfer your excess balances automatically
  • Reduce the need for manual balance allocation decisions
  • Interest is earned on balances held in the investment account

Line of Credit Sweep

Daily deposit management decisions can be a burden on your business. To help simplify your credit line payment decisions, Old National recommends a Line of Credit Sweep.

We work with you to determine a target balance. If your account exceeds this target, excess funds will be applied to your line of credit. If your account falls below the target, the line of credit will advance funds, bringing your account back to the target balance.

Benefits

  • Transfer your excess balances automatically
  • Reduce the need for manual balance allocation decisions
  • Provide for overdraft protection with sufficient available credit
  • Reduce outstanding balances on your line of credit, reducing your interest expense

Business Investment & Line of Credit Sweep

Managing liquidity is a challenging issue that affects many businesses like yours. If you have difficulty deciding what to do with your excess funds, consider Old National’s Business Investment & Line of Credit Sweep. 1

This solution first functions like a line of credit sweep – making payments to your line of credit when your account balance is above your target balance. Once your line of credit is paid in full, the sweep then invests your excess funds to earn interest.

Benefits

  • Transfer your excess balances automatically
  • Reduce the need for manual balance allocation decisions
  • Provide for overdraft protection with sufficient available credit
  • Interest is earned on balances held in the investment account
  • Reduce outstanding balances on your line of credit, reducing your interest expense

Zero Balance Account

Transferring money manually can cause timing challenges and human errors. A Zero Balance Account (ZBA) helps eliminate those risks while maintaining separate account numbers.

Your account structure will consist of a master and several sub-accounts. Funds needed to pay transactions in a sub-account are transferred from the main account. Any deposits made to a sub-account will concentrate to the main account.

Benefits

  • Eliminate the manual process of funding individual accounts
  • Simplify reconciliation with individual statements
  • Reduce risk of overdraft
