Switch to Old National

No matter where you bank now, it couldn’t be easier to switch your checking to Old National with our 3-Step E-Z Switch Process.

Step 1. Ready

Plan to bring:

  • Name, Social Security Number and identification for all account holders (who also must provide their signatures).
  • A state-issued driver’s license with photo. (Without a license, other types of identification are required. Ask for details.)
  • Initial deposit of $50 in cash or check.
  • A voided check and deposit slip from your current bank.

...OR... you can start now by completing our easy online application.  You can have your account opened in a matter of minutes....all online.

Step 2. Set

Identify direct deposits and automatic payments that need to be transferred to your new Old National checking account.

  • Bring us 6-12 months of checking account statements. We’ll help you identify existing, recurring deposits and withdrawals that need to be transferred to your new account with us.
  • We’ll ask you to confirm contact information for each of these and we’ll submit a signed Automatic Payment Form or Direct Deposit Form on your behalf to each company.

Step 3. Go

Close your old checking account.

  • Once all your checks have cleared and all automatic payments and deposits have been redirected to your Old National account, it’s time to close your old account. Just sign an Authorization to Close My Account Form and mail it to your former bank.
