Paid time off
Vacation time with pay provides opportunities for rest, relaxation and personal pursuits. Full-time and eligible part-time associates may earn and use vacation time after a minimum of six months of employment. New full-time associates may qualify for one to three weeks of vacation time. Part-time associates hired to work more than 20 hours a week may qualify for up to 32 hours of vacation annually.
Old National observes several national holidays each calendar year. Eligible full-time and part-time associates are immediately entitled to holiday pay.
Paid sick leave benefits are available to eligible associates for periods of temporary absence due to illnesses or injuries of their own or their immediate family members. All full-time and eligible part-time associates begin accruing these benefits on their hire date.
Regular full-time employees are granted up to a maximum of five days paid leave for certain family members. Part-time associates hired to work more than 20 hours a week may be entitled to paid bereavement leave when a death occurs for certain family members.
Full-time, non-exempt associates can use eight hours of personal time per year. These hours are for any situation that requires associates to be away from work.
We encourage associates to fulfill their civic responsibilities by serving jury duty when required. Eligible full-time and part-time associates are immediately eligible and will receive their regular pay plus any jury pay provided by the court.
Old National provides short and long-term disability benefits, at no cost, to full-time associates who are unable to work because of a qualifying medical disability. Full-time associates are eligible to participate in the short-term disability plan following six months of employment.
Long-term disability benefits help associates cope with an illness or injury resulting in a long-term absence. If a disability lasts longer than 26 weeks, long-term disability benefits begin. These benefits are designed to continue monthly income equal to 66 2/3% of the associate’s pay up to a maximum of $12,000 per month and may continue until age 65.
