As part of our commitment to providing financial education, Old National is always looking for resources we can pass along to individuals and groups. Following are several resources offered by government agencies.

Money Smart

Old National volunteers use the Money Smart curriculum provided by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) to teach classes throughout our communities. The program  offers components for adults and youth ages 12-20, including the following:

• A 10-module program for adults covers money management, saving, handling credit, home ownership, basic financial services and more. The curriculum is available as an instructor-led version for those teaching financial education and a computer-based program for individuals.
• Money Smart also offers a curriculum to teach youth and young adults the basics of handling money. This instructor-led version includes eight modules with topics such as “Borrowing Basics,” “Setting Financial Goals” and “Paying for College and Cars.”

CreditSmart

A comprehensive, 12-module financial literacy program called CreditSmart is offered by Freddie Mac for community organizations. It comes with an instructor's guide and curriculum divided into four tracks:
