With the words "coronavirus" and "quarantine" dominating the news, we at Old National are receiving more questions from clients about ways to bank from home. The truth is, it's always smart to know how to bank remotely, because you never know when you could be impacted by illness, injury, bad weather or other unexpected restrictions. The best time to learn how to use digital banking services is before you have a critical need for them.
Here are some steps you can take now:
Enroll in Digital Banking.
When you sign up for Digital Banking, it opens the door to many other online services -from transferring money between accounts to paying bills online. You can download the ONB Mobile Banking App for even more digital capabilities, like depositing checks from your smartphone. Here are some FAQs to help you:
Learn how to use Mobile Deposit.
Once you have the Mobile App, you can deposit checks from your smartphone. Simply use your phone to take a photo of a check and follow the on-screen instructions. Our FAQ includes a video tutorial and walks you through the steps.
Know how to transfer money.
You don't have to go to the bank to transfer money between accounts. You can use the Account to Account Transfers feature of Digital Banking to move money between two Old National accounts, for example from savings to checking. You can also send money to, or request money from, an account at another financial institution.
Practice paying people with Popmoney®
Send a person to person payment using the Mobile App on your phone. You can send the payment within seconds, and it goes into the recipient’s account within 1 to 3 business days. You can also request a payment through Popmoney.
Pay your bills online.
While this service doesn't necessarily save a trip to the bank, it can replace trips to the post office. Set all of your bill payments up within Online Banking and pay them electronically. If you have the Mobile App, you can pay bills from there too.

Securely message us through Digital Banking.
You don’t have to come into a branch, or even call, to communicate with us. Once you have logged into digital banking, you can go to Messages to send us a secure message.
Ask us for help in setting up and using digital services.
The time to set up and learn about remote banking services is before you need them, and we are happy to help. You can visit any banking center or call Client Care at 1-800-731-2265, Monday-Friday, 7am to 5pm CT or Saturday, 7am to noon CT.
If you already use Old National Digital Banking, but haven't used it in a while, we suggest that you take time to log in on a regular basis. That way, you can ensure that you remember your user name and password, and you can reach out to us if you don't.
