That's why Diversity & Inclusion is one of our organizational values and an important part of our company culture. It’s the reason we employ a Director of Diversity & Inclusion and have an Executive Inclusion Council.
As the leader of this company, I need to have people around me who have experienced things I haven’t. Their diverse perspectives help us make better decisions and understand how the individuals and communities we serve may view our actions. Valuing diversity and inclusion directly affects Old National’s ability to attract, retain and develop a diverse workforce with the talents and skills needed to sustain our company as an employer of choice, a financial services provider of choice and a community partner of choice in the communities we serve.
Co-chaired by the Old National Bancorp Chairman and CEO and Old National's Director of Diversity & Inclusion, the Executive Inclusion Council is comprised of senior leaders from within the company. The purpose of the Council is to drive greater alignment of our diversity and inclusion efforts with organizational business objectives, resulting in the natural integration of diversity into Old National’s brand and imbedding the value of inclusion into our culture.
Old National respects, values and welcomes diversity in our work force, customers, suppliers and marketplace. We seek to recognize the unique contribution each individual brings to our company, and we are fully committed to supporting a rich culture of diversity as a cornerstone to our success. We follow a Diversity & Inclusion strategy that focuses on four pillars – all key to achieving our mission of exceeding client, associate and shareholder expectations.
Fostering an inclusive environment in which different backgrounds, perspectives and experiences are valued and respected.
Serving the diverse needs of clients and shareholders through our products and services as well as ensuring diversity in our suppliers and marketing efforts.
Building a diverse talent pipeline and providing high impact associate engagement and development programs.
Being a good corporate citizen and demonstrating social responsibility through community leadership, philanthropic support and volunteerism.
The Achieve Ability program is a 10-month mentorship opportunity for aspiring professionals with disabilities to connect and interact with executive leaders at Old National.
