A Welcome Packet was sent in early April, which included a "Quick Guide to All New Old National Bank Accounts" that outlined how your Anchor Bank accounts would convert to Old National. While we have done our best to match your account to a comparable one at Old National, please remember we have a wide range of options for you to choose from.
Most account numbers remained the same. You were notified if your account number is changing.
It is important to note that the Anchor Bank bank routing number (the nine-digit code that identifies a financial institution) changed to the Old National routing number, 086300012, on May 5.
Continue to use your Anchor Bank checks until you run out as they will continue to be accepted. Once you get close to depleting your supply, placing an order for Old National checks is easy. Options for ordering checks include:
When placing your new check order, please have the Old National routing number and your account number available.
The bank routing number for your account changed to the Old National routing number 086300012 on May 5. Old National will continue to honor the direct deposits and automatic payments presented with the Anchor Bank routing number for a period of time. If you have an existing direct deposit to your Anchor Bank account, it automatically transferred to your new Old National account. As of May 5, we began monitoring all direct deposit transactions and will notify senders that the routing number has changed to 086300012. Some companies may require that the change notification come directly from you. If any companies do not respond to our notification of change request, you may receive a letter at a later date from Old National requesting that you contact the company directly.
On or after Monday, May 7, please confirm with all your direct deposit sources, as well as recipients of automatic payments, that they have updated their records with the Old National routing number 086300012.
New Old National card(s) were mailed the week of April 23. Follow the instructions that were enclosed to activate your card(s) and select your PIN (Personal Identification Number). You should have begun using your new card(s) on Monday, May 7.
Please note that your Old National daily withdrawal and purchase limits will not be lower than your Anchor Bank card limits.
You can still use ATMs at former Anchor Bank locations that are now Old National. Your new debit or ATM card will also be welcome at over 55,000 ATMs in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, and Australia free of charge through our partner ATM network, Allpoint®. Allpoint® ATMs can be found at popular retailers near you such as Target, Walgreens, CVS, Costco and many more. You can use our locator to find ATMs.
When making a withdrawal at a non-Old National/non-Allpoint® ATM, you will be charged $2.50 by Old National.
If you were an Anchor Bank Cash Management client, the first thing you may have noticed is that “Cash Management” is referred to as “Treasury Management" at Old National. You should have received communication from Old National about the transfer of your accounts and services. For additional information, you can also visit the Conversion Resources for Treasury Management web site at oldnational.com/AnchorTM.
If you do not find the information you need on the conversion resources site and still have questions, you can call 1-800-844-1720.
