In most cases, account numbers have remained the same. You were notified if your account number is changing.
It is important to note that the Anchor Bank bank routing number (the nine-digit code that identifies a financial institution) changed to the Old National routing number, 086300012, on May 5.
Continue to use your Anchor Bank checks until you run out as they will continue to be accepted. Once you get close to depleting your supply, placing an order for Old National checks is easy. Options for ordering checks include:

The bank routing number for your account changed to the Old National routing number 086300012 on May 5. Old National will continue to honor the direct deposits and automatic payments presented with the Anchor Bank routing number for a period of time. If you had an existing direct deposit to your Anchor Bank account, it automatically transferred to your new Old National account. As of May 5, we started monitoring all direct deposit transactions and will notify senders that the routing number has changed to 086300012. Some companies may require that the change notification come directly from you. If any companies do not respond to our notification of change request, you may receive a letter at a later date from Old National requesting that you contact the company directly.
On or after Monday, May 7, please confirm with all your direct deposit sources, as well as recipients of automatic payments, that they have updated their records with the Old National routing number 086300012.
Your new Old National card(s) were mailed the week of April 23. Follow the instructions that were enclosed to activate your card(s) and select your PIN (Personal Identification Number). You should have begun using your new card on Monday, May 7.
Please note that your Old National daily withdrawal and purchase limits will not be lower than your Anchor Bank card limits.
You can still use ATMs at former Anchor Bank locations that are now Old National. Your new debit or ATM card will also be welcome at over 55,000 ATMs in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Puerto Rico, the United Kingdom, and Australia free of charge through our partner ATM network, Allpoint®. Allpoint® ATMs can be found at popular retailers near you such as Target, Walgreens, CVS, Costco and many more. You can use our locator to find ATMs.
When making a withdrawal at a non-Old National/non-Allpoint® ATM, you will be charged $2.50 by Old National. Please note that ONB Preferred and Private Select Premier checking accounts include additional ATM benefits.
Your existing Anchor Bank credit card will continue to be serviced by Elan. Use your existing card as you always have. Please make payments directly to Elan. You should continue to access your account here.
You will not automatically receive an Old National credit card.
If you used AnchorLink Online Banking and you are an authorized signer on the account(s), you have automatically been set up with access to Online Banking at Old National. Review the Online Banking Quick Start Guide that was mailed to you the week of April 16, detailing how to confirm that accounts were converted as well as how to log in for the first time, how to set up transfers, alerts and eStatements.

If you were signed up for eStatements at Anchor Bank, you will need to log in to Old National Online Banking on or after May 7 to re-enroll your statements. A final Anchor Bank statement, reflecting account activity from your last statement date through May 4, will be mailed to you even if you are enrolled in eStatements.
The process and fees associated with International Check Processing may be different than what you experienced at Anchor Bank. Differences you can expect include:
The following information explains how soon various types of deposits, such as checks deposited from another bank, will be available for your use at Old National:
Checks drawn on another bank - Deposits made with checks drawn from a bank other than Old National or Anchor Bank when made by the close of business, will not be available until the next business day (if there are no holds placed on the checks). This means these funds will not be available to cover checks or other debits being processed that night.
Checks drawn on Old National or Anchor Bank - Deposits made with checks drawn on Old National or Anchor Bank when made by the close of business, will be credited to your account and have same-day availability. This means these funds will be available to cover checks or other debits processed that night.
Cash and direct deposits (such as payroll direct deposit, Social Security or other government checks) - Both cash and direct deposits are available the same day of deposit.
Overdraft Courtesy - Most Old National checking accounts come with overdraft courtesy. With overdraft courtesy, even if you don’t have enough available money in your checking account, we may still approve and pay checks you’ve written, as well as ACH and recurring debit card transactions (such as monthly utility bills). Overdraft courtesy does not cost anything unless you use it. When you do, there is a $38 overdraft charge for each transaction that overdraws your account’s available balance. Beginning the third consecutive calendar day your account balance is negative, there is an $8 daily overdraft charge until your current balance is positive.
If you previously instructed Anchor Bank to also cover ATM withdrawals and one-time debit card transactions, that choice transferred to your Old National account. If you are unsure whether you had that coverage or you would like to add overdraft courtesy to also cover ATM and one-time debit card transactions, please call 1-888-455-6420 on or after May 7 to choose this service.
Overdraft Protection - If you used Anchor Bank overdraft protection for your personal checking account, this service automatically transferred to Old National. You do not need to do anything to continue this service. There is a $30 annual fee for overdraft protection on personal accounts. Overdraft protection transfers are $9 each and are made in the exact amount to cover the total overdraft amount instead of incremental amounts. Overdraft protection is based upon the available balance in your linked account.
These two services can be used together for extra protection.
Information about your Anchor Bank loans has been mailed. If you use checks with your home equity line of credit or personal line of credit, you may order complimentary checks from Old National by calling 1-800-355-8123 or by visiting any banking center.
The standard deposit insurance amount is $250,000 per depositor, per insured bank, for each account ownership category. Deposit accounts held at Anchor Bank prior to the merger with Old National Bank were separately insured by the FDIC until May 1, 2018 to give you an opportunity to restructure your accounts, if necessary. This grace period is described in more detail below:
