Security Center

Your safety and security is at the core of all we do.

We value the trust you place in us. As your financial partner, we are passionately committed to protecting the security and privacy of your accounts and personal information. We vigilantly safeguard your financial information, while delivering a convenient, efficient and secure banking experience.

Our Commitment to Security

In addition to securing our systems and the flow of information, Old National recognizes the importance of communicating with our clients in a secure manner.

Old National will NEVER call, text or email you to request personal information, such as:

  • User IDs
  • Passwords
  • Social Security numbers
  • Credit Card Security Code (3-digit number on the back of the card)
  • Mother's maiden name or other information that could be used as answers to user-defined challenge questions (e.g. place of birth, high school mascot)

If you are unsure about the authenticity of a communication that appears to be from Old National, take the following precautions:

  • Call Old National at 1-800-731-2265 to confirm the communication came from us. Do not call a different phone number that was sent as part of an email or text.
  • Don't rely on links in an email to visit our web site. Type our web site address (www.oldnational.com) into your browser yourself.

Learn More in Our Security Center

Threats to your confidential information come through many sources – web sites, emails, phone calls and more. Our Security Center is designed to help you learn more about identifying these threats and protecting yourself.

About the Heartbleed bug and your security

You may have heard media reports about the Heartbleed bug, an online vulnerability that can be used to expose user names and passwords.

Old National has assessed this vulnerability and can assure you that our systems are not at risk. All necessary software and security controls are in place to combat this vulnerability.

While Old National systems are not at risk from the Heartbleed bug, other websites may be vulnerable. We advise you to determine whether other websites you use are at risk for the bug rather than assuming your information will be protected.
