How do I sign up for ON Guard Visa Purchase Alerts?
ON Guard Visa® Purchase Alerts are available as a smartphone app on both the iTunes App Store and Google Play It is also available through the web by using this link to sign up. There is no cost to use ON Guard.
Once you have downloaded the app or used the web link, follow these steps:
- Following the enrollment flow, enter your email address and a self-chosen username and password. Note that ON Guard has some very specific password guidelines. Click here to review the guidelines when you are setting up your account.
You will receive a verification code via email to allow you to use the app. You may need to go outside of the app to retrieve the email message that contains the code, so it may be helpful to write it down.
Once you receive the code, go back to the app or web page to input it.
Once the verification code is input into the ON Guard app or web page correctly, you can add information for the cards you want to use in ON Guard.
- Choose the notification triggers that match your needs, verify enrollment and you're all set!

Please note that ON Guard alerts apply to debit card transactions and HELOC cards only. The ON Guard App does not sync to Online Banking and is not available for checks clearing or ACH transactions.
