Veterans Affairs (VA) Loans
VA Loans can provide key to homeownership
The goal of VA Loans is to assist veterans in becoming homeowners, although you don't have to be a first-time homebuyer to apply for a VA Loan. Most members of the military, veterans, reservists and National Guard are eligible to apply, as are spouses of military members who died while on active duty or as a result of a service-connected disability.
What are the benefits of VA loans?
- Up to 100% financing
- No Private Mortgage Insurance (PMI) required
- Less restrictive credit and income requirements
How to apply for a VA Home Loan
You will need a Certificate of Eligibility (COE) to apply for a VA-backed loan. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs website provides guidance on how to apply for a Certificate of Eligibility.
Even before obtaining your COE, you can apply for your VA Loan by finding your nearest Old National mortgage expert and completing your application online.
