The items in bold are new additions per the CARES Act.
Also, if you incur a qualified medical expense and pay it out of pocket, you can shoebox that receipt and use it later to pay yourself back out of your HSA at any time. There is no time limit for paying yourself back, however the expense must be incurred after your original High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) policy effective date and the date you opened your HSA.
