Later this year, your Bremer Bank accounts and services will transition to Old National Bank. We’re looking forward to introducing you to everything Old National has to offer. From expanded capabilities to a wider branch and ATM network, this move brings more ways to support your financial goals while keeping the personalized service you know and value.

An Overview of Your Transition

Here’s what you can expect in the coming months as we prepare for the transition of your Bremer Bank deposit and loan accounts and services to Old National. Residential mortgage loans will transition on September 30, 2025, and deposit and non-mortgage loan accounts will move to Old National on October 20, 2025.

NOTE: If you are a Bremer Investments (Raymond James) or Bremer Wealth client, or have an employer-sponsored retirement plan with Bremer, those accounts will transition on a different timeline.*

    • Digital banking transition details will be mailed to you.

  • Early October

    Stay Informed as the Transition Approaches

    • Email reminders will be sent in advance of transition weekend.
    • Old National debit cards will be sent to replace your current Bremer debit card.
  • October 20, 2025

    Your Accounts Move to Old National

    • Bremer deposit and non-residential mortgage accounts are converted to comparable accounts at Old National.
    • Begin accessing your accounts through Old National Digital Banking.

*Employer-sponsored retirement plans with Bremer will transition October 1. Bremer Wealth will be introduced to the Old National Wealth Management service models on October 20, but accounts won’t transition until 2026. Bremer Investments (Raymond James) accounts will transition November 10.

Frequently Asked Questions

GENERAL INFORMATION

A: Later this year, your Bremer accounts and services will move to Old National Bank. You’ll gain access to expanded capabilities, a broader branch and ATM network, and continued support from the team you know. We’ll provide the information you need to know well in advance, including any steps you may need to take to prepare for the account and servicing changes before and after the communicated transition dates.

BRANCHES AND ATMS

A: Yes, you’ll continue to work with the team you know and trust.

A: You can already withdraw cash from any Old National banking center ATM without a surcharge fee. When your accounts transition to Old National on October 20, you’ll also be able to visit any Old National banking center for expanded convenience and in-person support. You’ll also gain surcharge-free access to 55,000+ Allpoint ATMs worldwide beginning October 20.1

A: Bremer Bank branches will be rebranded as Old National Bank banking centers. Once your transition is complete, you’ll be able to access your Old National accounts at any former Bremer branch and all other Old National locations.

DIGITAL BANKING AND DEBIT CARDS

A: When your accounts move to Old National on October 20, your online and mobile access will switch to Old National Digital Banking. You’ll receive step-by-step instructions by mail and email ahead of the transition to help you log in and get started.

A: You can continue using your Bremer Bank debit card as usual, including surcharge-free access to Old National banking center ATMs. Ahead of the transition, you’ll receive a new Old National Debit Mastercard® in the mail. Starting October 20, you’ll use this new card to access your Old National accounts and make purchases anywhere Mastercard® is accepted.

ACCOUNT NUMBERS AND CHECKS

A: In most cases, account numbers will remain the same. If a change is needed, you’ll be notified well in advance.

A: You can continue using your current Bremer Bank checks after your checking account transitions to Old National. Your current Bremer checks will be accepted for at least two years from the date of the account transition. If you’d like to order Old National checks after October 20, you may do so through digital banking or by visiting a banking center.

LOANS

A: The terms and conditions of your loans will not change. Residential mortgage loans will transition to Old National on September 30, and all other non-mortgage loans will convert along with your deposit accounts on October 20. You will have a new address and instructions for all loan payments, which will be included on your first loan statement from Old National after the transition.

WEALTH MANAGEMENT

A:

  • If you have an employer-sponsored retirement plan with Bremer, those accounts will transition to 1834 Investment Advisors (a subsidiary of Old National Bancorp) on October 1.
  • Bremer Wealth will be introduced to the Old National Wealth Management service models on October 20, but accounts won't transition until 2026.
  • Bremer Investment (Raymond James) accounts will transition November 10.

You will receive separate communications well in advance with details. In the meantime, please continue using your existing accounts and services and working with your wealth team as usual.
