
Card Controls & Automated Fraud Monitoring
Now it's even easier to monitor your account.
ONB now offers even greater convenience and control when it comes to protecting your debit card and account through two new features – Card Controls and Automated Fraud Monitoring.
Card Controls
From within Old National Online Banking and the ONB Mobile App, the Card Controls feature enables you to do the following with no additional app needed.
Monitor
Know exactly what is happening with your Debit Mastercard, anytime and anywhere. Turn on the alerts you prefer for internet purchases, ATM transactions and more.
Manage
Use Card Controls to immediately turn your ONB Debit Mastercard on or off in case your card is misplaced or lost, or for any other reason. Turn on as many Card Controls as you would like. There is no cost to use them.
How do you enroll?
You can enroll in one of two ways:
- In the Mobile App, log in and tap More on the lower right of the Accounts screen. Under Account Services, tap on Debit Card Controls.
- In Online Banking, log in and select Additional Services at the top of the screen and then Card Controls.
In both the Mobile App and Online Banking, you will see a list of your debit cards. For each card, you can set Card Controls using the ON/OFF toggle. Active ONB cards which are available for Card Controls will be defaulted to "ON" the first time you view them.

Card Controls FAQs
Automated Fraud Monitoring
ONB debit card holders are now automatically enrolled in our free, two-way ONB Fraud Alerts. If we ever suspect that your card is being used by someone other than you, we’ll send you a real-time text alert, email or phone call and ask for your Yes/No confirmation. Based on your response, we can immediately shut down your card if necessary.
You have the option to opt out of these alerts if preferred.
To ensure these alerts reach you, check to verify we have your most current contact information on file through one of the following:
- In Online Banking, log in and select My Settings to confirm or update.
- In the ONB Mobile App, select More from the bottom menu, then choose Settings followed by My Settings.
