Culture, Well-Being, and the Power of Purpose at Old National

What if the most powerful driver of well-being at work isn’t a program or a benefit, but culture itself?

At Old National, we believe culture shapes how people show up every day. It influences how we support one another, serve our clients, and invest in our communities. And increasingly, it plays a critical role in helping our team members maintain balance, resilience and purpose.

Connecting culture and self care

International Self-Care Day offers an important reminder that caring for ourselves isn’t occasional. It’s a daily commitment. Observed each year on July 24, the date reinforces the idea of practicing self-care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

In the workplace, that commitment is shaped by culture.

Purpose drives wellbeing

A strong, purpose-driven culture creates an environment where people feel valued, heard, and empowered. At Old National, our culture is grounded in our values — integrity, inclusion, excellence, optimism, agility and collaboration — and our purpose to help clients and communities thrive.

When organizations prioritize culture and engagement, they build more resilient, innovative and high-performing teams. Individuals experience the same benefit — greater connection, stronger balance and the ability to contribute in meaningful ways.

Extending Impact Through Community

That sense of purpose extends beyond the workplace. At Old National, we support our communities through volunteerism and empower team members to do the same. By offering paid time off to volunteer, we reinforce that giving back is not separate from well-being. It is part of it. Serving others strengthens communities while deepening personal connection and purpose.

Supporting the Whole Person

Our commitment extends beyond traditional benefits. We provide resources that support the whole person, including wellness programs, Employee Assistance Programs, and flexibility. But culture is what brings those resources to life. It’s what makes it okay to reset, to ask for help, and to support one another — at work and in our communities.

A Daily Commitment

Well-being doesn’t happen in isolation. It’s built through daily choices, supportive environments, and shared accountability.

At Old National, the core of who we are is reflected in how we love, care, and support one another and in how we care for ourselves. We believe that when we take care of our people, they are better able to take care of everything else. That’s what makes culture not just important, but essential.
