    1. My debit card was lost/stolen. How can I get a new one?

      Please report your lost or stolen Old National debit card (24-hours a day) by calling 1-800-731-2265, option 2, in the US. If you are outside of the US, call 1-812-422-2197. We can order a new card for you at that time.

      If you notice unauthorized activity on your debit card through Online and Mobile Banking, you can turn your card off right away with our Card Controls feature in Online Banking and the Mobile App. 

      Even if you use Card Controls to turn off your debit card, you should still contact us at 1-800-731-2265 to report the unauthorized activity on your card and obtain a new one.

    2. Where can I mail my Old National mortgage payment?

    3. What do I do if I received an unsolicited or suspicious email claiming to be from Old National?

      If you inadvertently provided personal information and feel your Old National accounts may be in jeopardy, please contact Client Care at 1-800-731-2265 Monday-Friday, 7am to 6pm or Saturday, 7am to noon CT.

      Although fraudsters use various tactics in their attempts to deceive, there are common elements you can look for:

      • Awkward greeting or salutation
      • Typos
      • Incorrect grammar
      • Strange or unfamiliar links
      • Compelling or urgent language
      • Misspelled company name

      You are your first line of defense:

      • Stop before you click on links or attachments
      • Call the company using a phone number you know to be valid to confirm they sent the email
      • Don't reply
    4. Where can I find the phone number or email to contact a branch manager?

      Banking center manager names and emails can be found on each banking center's page. The page will also provide the banking center phone number.

      To find your local banking center's page, go to our locator. In the Search box, enter the branch address (as much as you know), city and state. In the list of banking centers on the right, click on the banking center you are looking for.

      This will take you to that banking center's dedicated page. On the left of that page, you will see the banking center manager's name and a link to send an email.

    5. What if I want to send money to someone whose financial institution doesn't offer Zelle?

      You can find a full list of participating banks and credit unions live with Zelle® here.

      If your recipient's financial institution isn't on the list, don't worry! The list of participating financial institutions is always growing, and your recipient can still use Zelle® by downloading the Zelle® app for Android and iOS.

      To enroll with the Zelle® app, your recipient will enter their basic contact information, an email address and U.S. mobile number and a Visa® or Mastercard® debit card with a U.S.-based account (does not include U.S. territories). Zelle® does not accept debit cards associated with international deposit accounts or any credit cards.

    6. Is online and mobile banking down?

      Typically, if our online or mobile banking will be down for an extended period of time, we post a notification in the blue bar at the top of our home page.

      At times, after we have had an online or mobile banking outage, clients may need to take a few steps to be able to access it again. This is because the browser on your computer/device may have "cached" or held on to the previous page you visited in online or mobile banking when it was not functioning. You will need to clear your cache to enable your computer to access the now functioning page.

      Different browsers require that you clear the cache (or browsing history) in different ways, so we have created an FAQ on how to clear your browser history, cache and cookies.

      Once you have cleared your cache, you should also close down your browser.

    7. What is meant by multi-factor authentication?

      Multi-factor authentication is a security method that verifies your identity from more than one source. If our Digital Banking does not recognize the device you are using to log in, we use multi-factor authentication to verify your identity for the security of your account.

      You will receive a verification code by the method you select (phone call, text message or email), that you must then enter to confirm your identity and access Digital Banking. If you choose Yes, register my private device, you will not be required to complete this verification process each time.

      There are several common reasons that you may be asked to verify your identity, such as:

      • You recently cleared your browser's cookies
      • You are using a different browser from the one you used previously
      • You knowingly or unknowingly asked to not skip this extra security step
      • You are using your browser in private or incognito mode

    8. What is the difference between a debit and credit card?

      While both a debit card and credit card can be used to make purchases at stores or online, how they work is quite different.

      A debit card is tied to your bank account. When you use it to make purchases, money is withdrawn directly from your account. If you have no money in your account, the purchase won’t (or shouldn’t) go through.

      A credit card is a revolving line of credit, or a loan. When you use it to make purchases, the credit card company funds the purchase upfront. You can continue spending up to your credit limit without paying immediately. At the end of your billing cycle, your credit card company sends you a bill for the amount you owe. You then have the option of paying the minimum amount due (and paying interest on the remainder), paying your balance in full (and not being charged interest) or paying somewhere in between. As long as your account is in good standing, you can continue to spend up to your credit limit.

      Each type of card has benefits and drawbacks. A debit card is a safe option. It prevents you from falling into debt, since it won’t function if you don’t have any money in your account. However, should you need to spend a little extra, you won’t be able to.

      A credit card, on the other hand, gives you access to additional funds and it gives you the opportunity to build your credit, provided you pay your bill in a timely fashion. The potential risk is that you may end up paying high interest on the balance you don’t pay off, and, if you don’t make your regular payments, you may see your credit score drop.

      At Old National, we offer our clients both debit cards and credit cards.

    9. When will the check I deposited through Mobile Deposit be available?

      Checks deposited using Mobile Deposit are available for withdrawal based upon our typical funds availability policy. If we receive your mobile deposit by our Mobile Deposit cut-off time of 8pm CST, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), we consider that business day to be the day of your deposit. Otherwise, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open.

      Checks written from an Old National account:
      If you submit a check written from an Old National account through Mobile Deposit by the 8pm cut-off time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), the deposit will be available the same day. In other words, it will be credited to your account and available to cover checks or other debits being processed that night.

      Checks written from an account at a bank other than Old National:
      If made by the 8pm CST Mobile Deposit cut-off time, Monday through Friday (excluding holidays), these deposits will typically be available the next business day. This means these funds will not be available to cover checks or other debits processed that night. In some cases, an extended hold may need to be placed on a mobile deposit, meaning funds will not be available the next business day. 

      Viewing your mobile deposit
      You should be able to view your mobile deposit in your Digital Banking transaction history within one to two business days of your deposit.

      ATM Deposits
      As an alternative to Mobile Deposit, many of our ATMs also accept deposits. When viewing our Branch and ATM locator and select the ATM filter.

    10. Why am I not receiving Card Controls Alerts after enrolling?

      If you have followed instructions for setting up Card Controls in a Browser or Card Controls in the Mobile App, and you are not receiving alerts, we recommend the following:

      Check or update your contact information
      Ensure we have your most current information on file. You can do this in one of two ways.

      1. Log in to Online Banking from a browser and select My Settings in the upper right corner of the screen.
      2. Log in to the Mobile App, select More from the bottom menu, then choose Settings followed by My Settings.

      Know where your Alerts will arrive
      Card Controls Alerts are emailed to the email address listed in Online Banking under Notifications and Settings on the Alerts & Notifications screen. If you also have a phone number set up to receive Text Alerts, you will receive Card Control Alerts by text too. There is not a way to turn off the email alerts. You can turn off Text Alerts by removing your phone number from the Alerts & Notification screen, but this will turn off ALL Text Alerts and not just Card Controls Alerts.
